Colt born sometime between 4 a.m. and dawn today. Foxy, a first time mom, won't let him nurse, won't stand still for me to milk him - her bag is full and tight and I'm sure very painful. Help is on the way. More later.

Update (late in coming): The colt lived less than 48 hours. The problem wasn't that his mom wouldn't let him nurse, but that he had a plumbing problem and couldn't urinate. I think this little boy was a bit premature, though I don't know if that was related to the other problem. He was so sweet.
